propriétés agglutinantes
- Domaine

- charbon
Note :

The properties manifest in some coals that when heated up to certain temperatures the coal softens, becomes pasty and agglutinating, while the volatile matter, driven out through the sticky substance, causes it to become a cellular mass, yielding a coke or char on cooling.
Note :
Coals that leave a powdery residue are non-caking; the more plastic a coal becomes on heating, the stronger its caking power. The caking properties of a coal are important in the manufacture of coke and for combustion on certain types of grate.
