Date :Définition
The most important arsenic compound, arsenic trioxide is a white and extremely toxic powder; it is often called white arsenic, or loosely "arsenic", which of course is incorrect. The formula is As2O3; sublimation temperature is 195 °C (383 °F). It has a number of industrial uses, though some are giving way to substitutes because of safety factors; it is a decolorizing agent in glass manufacture, a source of other arsenic compounds, a pesticide, and a preservative of hides in the leather industry.
Note :
Not only ingestion, but also inhalation and skin contact must be avoided.
