Date :Définition
Energy that has not been subjected to any conversion or transformation process.
Note :
Energy contained in fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum and energy derived from renewable sources such as the sun, wind and waves. All the energy which we use comes from these primary sources, through very often the energy may be supplies in the form of secondary fuels such as electricity, manufactured gas, or coke. National energy consumption, and future projections of this, are usually measured in terms of primary energy usage using a common unit such as million tonnes coal equivalent (mtce) or million tonnes oil equivalent (mtoe), though it is often more instructive to examine demand for delivered energy, or even better, useful energy. In this way it is possible to pinpoint feasible energy conservation measures which may lead to a drop in primary energy needs.
