Note :
Some accumulations, such as the large Groningen field in Holland contain a significant proportion of nitrogen. The fields in the southern sector of the North Sea, which up to recently have been supplying all the United Kingdom's natural gas, are non-associated gas deposits, remarkably free of nitrogen or appreciable acid gas impurities.
