Calcédoine (agate ou jaspe) ou opale formée par le remplacement du bois par la silice tout en conservant la forme et la structure du bois.
Note :
Lorsque la silice est cristalline on le dit bois agatisé et lorsqu'elle est amorphe, on l'appelle bois opalisé.
