Date :Définition
A device in which the tracks of charged atomic particles, such as cosmic rays or accelerator beams, are displayed.
Apparatus for the observation of the paths of ionising particles.Note :
It consists of a glass-walled chamber filled with a supersaturated vapor, such as wet air. When charged particles pass through the chamber, they trigger a process of condensation, and so produce a track of tiny liquid droplets, much like the vapor trail of a jet plane. This tract permits scientists to study the particles'motions and interactions.
