Note :
Termes :

- distorsion dissymétrique n. f.

Distortion affecting a two-condition (or binary) modulation (or restitution) in which all the significant intervals corresponding to one of the two significant conditions have longer or shorter duration than the corresponding theoretical durations.
Note :
The term ((...)) relates in general only to conventional systems of telegraphy using the Morse Code (or its variants), or equal length binary codes such as the 5-unit code; ((it)) relates more particularly to machine telegraph systems in which telegraph signals are automatically generated at the transmitter and automatically translated into a printed character or other appropriate signification at the receiver.
