courbe de réponse à un échelon
- Domaine
-
Note :

The curve showing the variation, with respect to time, of the current at the receiving end of a telegraph transmission line, when a steady voltage of known value is suddenly applied at the sending end, the line being previously in a state of rest, and the sending and receiving impedances being specified.
Note :
The term ((...)) relates in general only to conventional systems of telegraphy using the Morse Code (or its variants), or equal length binary codes such as the 5-unit code; ((it)) relates more particularly to machine telegraph systems in which telegraph signals are automatically generated at the transmitter and automatically translated into a printed character or other appropriate signification at the receiver.
