Définition :
Bandes d'un bleu foncé rayonnant à partir du Soleil et traversant la lueur pourpre.
Note :
Ces bandes sont les ombres des nuages, situés à l'horizon ou derrière l'horizon. Parfois, ces ombres traversent entièrement le ciel, devenenat à nouveau visibles au voisinage du « point antisolaire » (« rayons anticrépusculairee »). Ce nom est employé également pour désigner les bandes d'ombre projetées par les nuages sur une couche de brume sèche, sans qu'il soit tenu compte du moment de la journée.

Note :
These streaks are the shadows of clouds at or below the horizon. Occasionally, the shadows may cross the sky, becoming visible again at the antisolare point (anticrepuscular rays). The term is sometimes also used to denote shadowed bands cast by clouds on a layer of haze at any time of the day.
