vitesse à l'infini

Note :

The residual speed in excess of the escape velocity at an infinite distance along the asymptote of a hyperbolic path (in the preliminary analysis of interplanetary trajectories, where both the Earth-centered escape path and the planetocentric approach path are hyperbolic).
Note :
For Earth escape paths, it is approximately the speed relative to Earth, as the spacecraft departs Earth's sphere of influence. Conversely, for approach paths to a target planet, the excess velocity of the approach hyperbola is approximately the speed relative to the planet, as the spacecraft enters its sphere of influence. The square of the excess velocity is a measure of total energy (i.e.,twice the total energy/unit mass), relative to Earth, remaining after Earth escape, given in km²/sec².
