Date :Définition
A loose term for the process of removing forest produce, particularly timber, fuelwood and Bamboos, from its place of growth to some permanent or major delivery point, either for further transport or further manufacture (i.e. secondary conversion) or both.
Notes :
Not to be confused with its ordinary senses of "pulling out by force", e.g. stump extraction or "removing by processes of chemistry or physics", e.g. chemical extraction.
Extraction is narrower in sense than export.
((Particularly in USA)), ((extraction)) may also include felling and primary conversion, so that for timber, logging would be a near synonym.Terme :
