Définition :
Dans l'œuf de poule, le sac vitellin qui reste est attiré dans la cavité du corps le 19° jour d'incubation. Il est directement relié à l'intestin, qui l'absorbe rapidement; il a normalement disparu le 6° jour après l'éclosion.
