Définition :
Système de radiodétection primaire d'approche comprenant généralement un radiodétecteur de recherche (ondes décimétriques ou centimétriques) et un radiodétecteur de précision (ondes centimétriques) balayant le secteur d'approche en site et en azimut.
Note :
Les modifications de cap et de vitesse verticale sont transmises en radio-téléphonie par le contrôleur au sol à l'aéronef.
