Définition :
Dans un tube à gaz, valeur de la tension anodique pour laquelle s'établit la décharge principale, l'intervalle cathode-électrode d'amorçage n'étant pas conducteur, et tous les autres éléments étant maintenus à un potentiel sensiblement égal au potentiel de la cathode avant la décharge.

Electrode of a gas tube. The voltage at which breakdown occurs to that electrode.
Note :
The breakdown voltage is a function of the other electrode voltage or currents and of the environment. In special cases where the breakdown voltage of an electrode is referred to an electrode other than the cathode, this reference electrode shall be indicated.
