Définition :
Fonction de protéger l'information contenue dans les fichiers en contrôlant ou en limitant les opérations faites sur certains fichiers déterminés, de façon telle que ceux qui souhaiteraient s'immiscer dans le système n'aient pas la possibilité d'extraire, de modifier ou de détruite l'information contenue dans ces fichiers, même s'ils parvenaient à y avoir accès.
