Emotional neglect is the deprivation suffered by children when their parents do not provide opportunities for the normal experiences producing feelings of being loved, wanted, secure, and worthy, which result in the ability to form healthly object relationships with other people.
Note :
Examples ((of emotional neglect)) include: 1. Parent's refusal to recognize and take action to improve a child's emotional disturbance; or 2.
