Auteur : Institut libre Marie Haps,Définition
A property that characterizes a member by a comparison between his value on some (absolute or relational) property and the distribution of this property over the entire collective of which he is a member.
Note :
This nominal group could not be found as such in the article "On the Relations between Individual and Collective Properties" but as the authors used indifferently "property" and "variable" for absolute, contextual and structural variables, one can generalize this usage to the five other types of variables described by them. Therefore, homogeneity being the major purpose of this terminology, we shall speak of comparative, relational collective, global and analytical variables rather than properties.
Termes :
- comparative variable
- comparative property
