Définition :
Grue à tour fixée au sol par l'intermédiaire d'un bloc de béton qui ne dessert que la surface couverte par la rotation de la flèche et la distribution du chariot.
Note :
On trouve des grues à tours fixes et à tours pivotantes. Sur la grue à tour fixe, la couronne d'orientation est placée au sommet ou près du sommet de la tour et la flèche pivote autour de l'axe vertical de cette tour.
