Définition :
Partie non absorbée d'un aliment. On peut estimer sa valeur en faisant la somme des fractions non digestibles des principaux constituants de l'aliment. Ainsi, 10 % des matières azotées et des graisses, 96 % des pentosanes, 100 % de la cellulose et la partie non digestible des extractifs non zotés et des cendres.
